Costa: Europe is determined to increase pressure on Russia
Gdańsk, June 25 (Hibya) – European Council President Antonio Costa announced that he met with Andris Kulbergs, Kristen Michal, and Gitanas Nausėda in Gdańsk, Poland, to discuss increasing pressure on Russia and strategies to strengthen support for Ukraine.

Referring to the meeting and financial support for Ukraine, Costa said: "Europe is more united and determined than ever in our strategy to increase pressure on Russia and strengthen our support for Ukraine. Today's first disbursement under the Ukraine Support Loan is a strong demonstration of that determination."
Emphasizing the importance of regional stability and lasting peace, Costa concluded: "Achieving a just and lasting peace is vital for Ukraine, for the security of our eastern flank, and for the European Union as a whole."
