Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with former Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko, who was visiting the capital, Baku.

Referring to the content of the meeting and their longstanding friendship, Aliyev said, “We recalled the joint work we carried out to strengthen Azerbaijan-Ukraine relations and exchanged views on the future prospects of the relations.”

Sharing details about the title presented to him during the meeting, President Aliyev said, “During the meeting, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan presented me with the title of ‘Honorary Citizen of the City of Irpin’.”
