Anand: Bombardier's Saudi Arabia deal is a global success for our aviation sector
Ottawa, July 29 (Hibya) - Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand said Bombardier's agreement with Saudi Arabia's The Helicopter Company for up to 60 business jets is a major achievement for Canada's aviation industry.
Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand commented on the agreement between Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier and Saudi Arabia's The Helicopter Company.
Anand said the agreement represents a global success for Canada's aviation sector, noting that the country's skilled workforce, human capital, and industrial capacity have made Canada a sought-after partner worldwide.
She emphasized that Bombardier's agreement to supply up to 60 business jets to the Saudi company demonstrates Canada's strength in the aerospace industry and underlined the sector's significant contribution to the national economy.
The Canadian foreign minister added that Bombardier's 12,000 employees, together with the aviation sector that provides employment for approximately 225,000 people across the country, play a vital role in shaping the future of aviation in Canada.
