Anand discusses Ukraine and NATO with Hungarian counterpart
Ottawa, September 29 (Hibya) - Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand discussed continued support for Ukraine, shared responsibilities as NATO allies and transatlantic cooperation with Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orbán.
Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand made a statement regarding her meeting with Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orbán.
Anand said, “Russia’s illegal aggression against Ukraine has consequences for our shared security. I discussed continued support for Ukraine and our shared responsibilities as NATO allies with my Hungarian counterpart Anita Orbán.”
Anand said the meeting also addressed opportunities to expand trade and investment between the two countries, alongside transatlantic cooperation, noting that these efforts build on the long-standing ties between the peoples of both countries.
