Brussels, September 29 (Hibya) - United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said racism around the world continues to poison societies, deepen inequalities and obstruct people’s fundamental rights and freedoms.
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres made a statement on racism and discrimination.
Guterres said, “Around the world, racism continues to poison societies, deepen inequalities and obstruct people’s fundamental rights and freedoms.”
Highlighting the importance of unity and concrete action in the fight against racism, Guterres said, “Let us fight for everyone’s dignity, rights and place in society, reject injustice, and build societies where racism and discrimination have no place.”
