Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand announced the completion of negotiations on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between Canada and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In a post on social media, Anand said the process, completed in 47 days, was the fastest trade negotiation in Canada's history.

Anand stated that the agreement would reduce trade barriers for businesses, create new opportunities, and aim to further expand bilateral trade, which reached $4.2 billion in 2025. She also congratulated her Emirati counterpart on the successful conclusion of the negotiations.

Anand reaffirmed Canada's commitment to strengthening its relations with the UAE and noted that developments in the Middle East were also discussed during the meeting.

She added that Canada condemned the recent attacks targeting the UAE and reiterated the importance of maintaining maritime security, freedom of navigation, and regional stability, particularly in the Strait of Hormuz.
