Anand: We have an ambitious agenda to deepen the partnership
Ottawa, July 17 (Hibya) - Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand announced that she hosted Mexican Foreign Minister Roberto Velasco at Rideau Hall, where they discussed the diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand highlighted the friendship between Canada and Mexico, which has lasted for more than 80 years, stating that further steps will be taken in the coming period to strengthen the bilateral partnership.
Sharing details about the reception at Rideau Hall and the beginning of the meeting, Anand said, "Minister Velasco and I began his visit with a walk through the gardens, reflecting on more than 80 years of diplomatic relations."
Emphasizing future cooperation goals, Minister Anand stated, "In the days ahead, we will build on this foundation with an ambitious agenda to further deepen the partnership between our two countries."
