Barrack: I feel honored to serve Trump
Ankara, June 1 (Hibya) - United States (US) Ambassador to Türkiye Tom Barrack praised US President Donald Trump's influence in the Middle East and argued that a new approach has been adopted in US foreign policy.
US Ambassador to Türkiye Tom Barrack stated that he feels honored to serve President Donald Trump, saying: “I feel honored to serve US President Donald Trump, who has achieved in the Middle East what no previous leader has managed to accomplish.”
Barrack also referred to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, stating that Rubio has fundamentally changed the approach to US foreign policy. Barrack described Rubio as “the only person following in Henry Kissinger’s footsteps while simultaneously serving as both Secretary of State and National Security Advisor.”
In his remarks about Marco Rubio, Barrack noted that the new US foreign policy vision is based on a model in which allies assume greater responsibility and countries become more integrated through mutual cooperation.
Barrack also stated that the US-centered balance-of-power approach encourages allies to become more self-reliant, which is consistent with mutual prosperity and the strategic objectives of the United States.
