Bermudez: Cuba will not back down in the face of US pressure
Havana, October 28 (Hibya) - Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel stated that his country would not back down in the face of pressure and directives from the United States, expressing support for the stance taken by the Cuban delegation.
Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel said in a statement that his country would not yield to pressure or directives from the United States.
Diaz-Canel congratulated Bruno Rodriguez, Soberon Guzman and the other members of the delegation for their firm stance in the face of disrespect, arrogance and imperialist pressure. Diaz-Canel stated that the Cuban people would accept nothing less than a resolute position in such circumstances.
