Buying momentum dominates foreign exchange markets
Istanbul, September 4 (Hibya) - Foreign exchange markets displayed a predominantly positive trend during the week's trading session.
Foreign exchange markets displayed a predominantly positive trend during the week's trading session. The euro, Japanese yen, British pound and Australian dollar gained against the dollar, while the dollar recorded a limited decline against the Canadian dollar.
The USD/JPY pair rose 0.33 percent to 156.31. The AUD/USD pair gained 0.13 percent to reach 0.7208.
The GBP/USD pair rose 0.07 percent to trade at 1.3531, while the EUR/USD pair increased 0.0258 percent to reach 1.1627.
The USD/CAD pair, meanwhile, diverged negatively from the market, falling a limited 0.0145 percent and closing the day at 1.3789 .
