Istanbul, September 4 (Hibya) - US markets displayed a strongly positive trend during the week's trading session.

The NASDAQ index rose 1.40 percent to 26,584.06 points. The Dow Jones (DJIA) index gained 1.18 percent to reach 53,686.11 points.
The NASDAQ 100 index rose 1.16 percent to trade at 29,482.32 points, while the S&P 500 index climbed 1.06 percent to 7,747.71 points.
The Russell 2000 (RUSS 2K) index gained 0.51 percent and closed the day at 2,968.271 points.
