Carney: President Trump's tariffs are crashing the global economy
Ottawa, April 7 (Hibya) – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney stated that U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariffs are crashing the global economy.
Carney pointed out that Trump’s tariffs are damaging the global economy and raising concerns about retirees' savings.
He noted that his government will protect citizens' retirement by reducing the minimum RRIF withdrawal by 25% for one year and increasing GIS by 5% tax-free.
