Palestinian Foreign Ministry welcomes Egypt-Jordan-France Trilateral Summit
Ramallah, April 7 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the Egypt-Jordan-France Trilateral Summit held in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, and its outcomes supporting the rights of the Palestinian people.
In a statement, the ministry noted that the Trilateral Summit, held in Cairo upon the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and attended by King Abdullah II and French President Emmanuel Macron, was received with appreciation.
The statement indicated that the summit addressed the dangerous developments facing the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people, particularly the ongoing genocide war in the Gaza Strip.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on France to transform these positions into collective or individual recognition of the State of Palestine by Europe, and to support the efforts of Palestine and Arab countries toward full membership in the United Nations.”
