Cassis emphasizes peaceful solution
Chișinau, May 14 (Hibya) – Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis visited Bender following his meetings in Chișinau and called for dialogue and a peaceful solution regarding Transnistria.
Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis, following his contacts in Chișinau, traveled to the city of Bender in the Transnistria region, where he held talks with local political leaders.
In a statement made during the visit, Minister Cassis highlighted Moldova’s role in facilitating dialogue as part of the OSCE Chairmanship and emphasized the importance of contributing to a peaceful resolution of the Transnistria conflict.
