Cassis: Switzerland and Tyrol aim to strengthen economic and cultural cooperation
Bern, October 21 (Hibya) - Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis met with Anton Mattle, Governor of the Austrian state of Tyrol, in Bern to discuss cross-border relations and economic cooperation between the two regions.
Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis issued a statement regarding his meeting with Anton Mattle, Governor of the Austrian state of Tyrol, in Bern.
Cassis stated that Tyrol and Switzerland share not only a common border but also a common space for living, culture and economic activity. He noted that Tyrol is Switzerland's most important trading partner within Austria.
Cassis also emphasized that Tyrol is an important hub for Swiss companies and investments, expressing his hope that the productive cooperation between the two sides would continue.
