CENTCOM: Naval blockade of Iranian ports reinstated
Washington, July 14 (Hibya) – The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that the naval blockade on vessels traveling to and from Iranian ports and coastal areas has been reinstated.
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that the naval blockade on vessels traveling to and departing from Iranian ports and coastal areas was reinstated as of 4:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time.
CENTCOM stated that more than 20 U.S. Navy warships and hundreds of military aircraft are operating across the Middle East.
The statement added that U.S. forces remain on alert in the region, are maintaining their operational capability, and are ready to carry out their missions.
