Saar holds phone call with Peru's President-elect Fujimori
Tel Aviv, July 14 (Hibya) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar discussed bilateral relations and areas of cooperation during a phone call with Peru's President-elect Keiko Fujimori.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar announced that he had held a phone conversation with Peru's President-elect Keiko Fujimori.
Saar said he congratulated Fujimori on her election victory and extended his congratulations to the people of Peru on the occasion of the country's upcoming 205th Independence Day.
During the conversation, Saar said Israel seeks to strengthen cooperation with Peru in a range of fields, particularly security, water management, agriculture and cybersecurity. He added that Israel fully supports Peru's OECD accession process and is ready to contribute to it.
Saar also stated that he had invited President-elect Fujimori to visit Israel.
