COGAT: Eight trucks carrying 18 tons of baby formula entered Gaza
Jerusalem, July 10 (Hibya) - The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) of the Israeli Ministry of Defense announced that eight trucks carrying 18 tons of baby formula donated by UNICEF have entered Gaza.
In a statement, COGAT said that they delivered critical baby supplies donated by UNICEF last week.
The statement noted that eight trucks carrying 18 tons of baby formula, enough to meet the nutritional needs of babies for more than six months, entered Gaza. "Additionally, 90 tons of biscuits fortified with dietary supplements also entered Gaza. We will continue to expand our efforts to facilitate any humanitarian intervention, including for vulnerable groups," the statement said.
