Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha said that he was honored to be received by President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, based on his dialogues with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Sybiha expressed their gratitude for President Erdoğan's unwavering commitment to Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and added:

"Crimea and other occupied territories belong to Ukraine. I conveyed Ukraine's interest in further developing cooperation with Turkey, particularly in the defense sector. We also discussed the importance of ensuring freedom of navigation in the Black Sea and the pathways to a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace."
