Costa: We must remain more committed than ever to international cooperation
Brussels, February 23 (Hibya) - President of the European Union (EU) Council Antonio Costa met with the Ibero-American Secretary General (SEGIB) Andres Allamand.
EU Council President Antonio Costa highlighted the importance of international solidarity in addressing global challenges and shared details of his meeting with Ibero-American Secretary General Andres Allamand.
Referring to the role of international cooperation, Costa said, “To overcome global challenges, we must remain more committed than ever to international cooperation. It was a pleasure to meet with SEGIB Ibero-American Secretary General Andres Allamand and discuss common goals between Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.”
Recalling that Madrid will host a summit in the autumn of 2026, Costa stated, “The 30th Ibero-American Summit, to be held in Madrid next November, will be an excellent opportunity to celebrate thirty years of high-level dialogue and to set our priorities for the upcoming period.”
