Council of Europe President Costa met with Indian Prime Minister Modi
Paris, September 4 (Hibya) – Council of Europe President Antonio Costa met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Council of Europe President Antonio Costa reported that he had met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Costa noted that India’s continued interaction with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was warmly welcomed.
Costa also highlighted the important role India plays in ending the war with Russia and creating a path to peace, adding, “Looking ahead, we plan to reach an agreement on a common strategic agenda at the next EU-India summit, which is expected to take place in 2026.”
