Croatia and UNDP discuss cooperation on Ukraine's recovery
Zagreb, August 31 (Hibya) - Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman met with United Nations (UN) Assistant Secretary-General and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Associate Administrator Susan Brown to discuss support for Ukraine's recovery and resilience.
The Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement regarding Minister Radman's meeting with UN Assistant Secretary-General and UNDP Associate Administrator Susan Brown.
According to the statement, the meeting was held as part of BSF2026. The talks addressed cooperation between Croatia and UNDP in the areas of development and humanitarian assistance.
The meeting focused in particular on supporting Ukraine's recovery and resilience. It was noted that Croatia and UNDP are carrying out various initiatives in Ukraine, including a €4 million humanitarian demining project.
The statement also noted that the two sides cooperate on projects in Albania, Kosovo and Türkiye. Croatia said it would continue sharing its experience and expertise through partnerships that deliver tangible benefits to communities on the ground.
