Dar holds phone call with Venezuelan Foreign Minister Plasencia
Islamabad, July 19 (Hibya) – According to a statement by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Felix Plasencia.

During the conversation, Senator Dar congratulated his counterpart on his new appointment and conveyed Pakistan's deepest condolences following the devastating earthquakes that recently struck Venezuela. Dar stressed Pakistan's unwavering solidarity with the government and people of Venezuela during this difficult period and expressed confidence that the country would overcome the consequences of the disaster.
Venezuelan Foreign Minister Plasencia thanked Pakistan for its humanitarian support and solidarity, emphasizing the importance of mutual support during difficult times.
Minister Plasencia also expressed appreciation for Pakistan's constructive role in promoting dialogue and reducing tensions on regional issues involving the United States and Iran, as well as for its commitment to peace and diplomacy.
