Pakistan's Foreign Ministry announced that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar made remarks during United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres' speech titled "Strengthening Multilateralism in a Changing World," organized by the Foreign Service Academy.

Dar said Pakistan remains committed to the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter, stressing the need to uphold international law and implement United Nations Security Council resolutions.

Dar also emphasized the need for diplomacy and for a just and peaceful resolution of the Palestine issue and the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.

Guterres, meanwhile, said the world is facing interconnected challenges such as conflict, inequality, climate change and artificial intelligence, stressing that multilateral cooperation should be strengthened through a reformed and more representative United Nations.
