Dar to attend SCO Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Kyrgyzstan
Islamabad, July 23 (Hibya) – Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar arrived in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan, to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting.
Dar was welcomed by Kyrgyz Deputy Foreign Minister Kairat Tursunkulov, Pakistan's Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Altamash Wazir, Pakistan's SCO National Coordinator Mohammad Faisal, and officials from Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to a statement by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dar will attend the informal dinner of SCO foreign ministers ahead of the official meeting. During the program, the foreign ministers are expected to exchange views and discuss the agenda of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting scheduled for the following day.
