Death toll in Gaza rises to 71,424
Ramallah, January 14 (Hibya) — Health authorities in Gaza announced that since the start of the fighting, the number of deaths has reached 71,424, while the number of injured has risen to 171,324. It was reported that attacks continue despite the ceasefire that came into force on October 11, 2025.
According to CCTV, health authorities in Gaza said on Tuesday that since the outbreak of clashes between the Palestinian Islamic Movement and Israel on October 7, 2023, the death toll has risen to 71,424 and the number of wounded has reached 171,324.
According to Palestinian sources, 5 bodies and 6 new wounded were brought to Gaza hospitals in the past 24 hours. Authorities also reported that 3 people lost their lives as a result of building collapses during the same period.
Health authorities stated that since the ceasefire agreement entered into force on October 11, 2025, 447 people have been killed and 1,246 injured in Israeli attacks.
