Dollar loses ground against Japanese yen and Canadian dollar
Istanbul, Aug. 17 (Hibya) - Foreign exchange markets showed a mixed performance during the trading session.
Foreign exchange markets showed a mixed performance during the trading session. The euro, Australian dollar and British pound gained against the dollar, while the dollar lost ground against the Japanese yen and Canadian dollar.
The AUD/USD pair rose 0.30% to 0.7102. The GBP/USD pair gained 0.15% to reach 1.355.
The EUR/USD pair rose 0.1383% and traded at 1.1585, while the USD/JPY pair declined 0.1444% to 159.07.
The USD/CAD pair lost 0.0793% and closed the day at 1.3863.
