Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said they are proud of the Air Force's history and mission and expressed her respect for all military personnel and staff serving in the cause of freedom.
The statement also emphasized that personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty were commemorated and that this special day is observed each year as a day of remembrance as well.
