Dutch Prime Minister Schoof Talks by Phone with EU Council President Costa
Amsterdam, 23 February (Hibya) – Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof held a telephone conversation with EU Council President Antonio Costa.
Prime Minister Schoof expressed his satisfaction with the conversation he had with EU Council President Costa.
Noting that the discussion was about Ukraine, Schoof said, "Our support for Ukraine is based on the European Union and our determination. This, among other things, requires additional investments in the European defense industry."
Schoof emphasized that cooperation between the EU, NATO, the United Kingdom, and the USA is of great importance for ensuring lasting peace with Ukraine, stating, "This is essential for the security of Ukraine, Europe, and consequently the Netherlands."
