Fletcher: We are working to ensure that humanitarian workers can continue saving lives
Doha, February 23 (Hibya) - UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher said that the UN and Qatar are working hand in hand to ensure that humanitarian workers can continue saving lives.
Tom Fletcher, UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, announced that he made his first visit to the Gulf region in Doha as the head of UN humanitarian assistance.
Meeting with Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Sani, Fletcher said, "The UN and Qatar are working hand in hand to ensure that humanitarian workers can continue saving lives."
