Easter Message from the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Kyiv, April 20 (Hibya) – The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a message for Easter.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared an Easter message.
In the message, it stated: “The pysanka, rich in detail and symbolic meaning, is one of Ukraine’s most treasured folk arts. Easter is celebrated with messages of life, faith, and continuity. In Brazil, thousands of kilometers away from Ukraine, Vilson Kotviski has made this art form his life’s mission. A grandson of Ukrainian immigrants, Kotviski has been creating and teaching pysanka for over 25 years. This is the story of a man who turned a centuries-old craft into a living cultural bridge from Halychyna to Santa Catarina.”
