It was announced that Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa will pay an official visit to China.

A spokesperson for China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided information today about the visit.

The Chinese spokesperson noted that this will be Ecuadorian President Noboa's first official visit to China. During the visit, Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet with Noboa, while Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, will hold separate meetings with him.

The Chinese spokesperson pointed out that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Ecuador comprehensive strategic partnership and said they hope the visit will strengthen mutual political trust and traditional friendship between the two countries, continuously advance the China-Ecuador comprehensive strategic partnership, and benefit the peoples of both countries.
