EU Commission President von der Leyen: Europe bears its full share of military aid to Ukraine
Brussels, February 18 (Hibya) - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated that peace must be achieved while respecting Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and strong security guarantees.
Von der Leyen participated in the European leaders' meeting in Paris to discuss Ukraine’s and Europe’s security.
She emphasized that Ukraine deserves peace through strength.
Von der Leyen said: "Peace must be achieved while respecting Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and strong security guarantees. Europe bears its full share of military aid to Ukraine. At the same time, there is a need for increased defense in Europe."
