European stock markets show a mixed, mostly flat performance
Istanbul, Aug. 7 (Hibya) - European markets showed a generally mixed but mostly flat performance during the trading session.
European markets lacked a clear direction during the session. Italy's stock market posted gains, while the UK market declined. Benchmark indices, along with the German and French markets, closed the day little changed.
Italy's FTSE MIB Index rose 0.44% to 53,682.72 points. In the UK, the FTSE 100 Index fell 0.19% to 10,867.89 points.
The pan-European STOXX 600 Index closed unchanged at 658.19 points. Germany's DAX Index finished flat at 26,140.13 points, while France's CAC 40 Index also ended the day unchanged at 8,699.71 points.
