Positive trend in oil markets
Istanbul, Aug. 7 (Hibya) - Oil and related commodity markets generally posted a positive performance during the trading session.
Oil markets were mostly on an upward trend during the trading session. Gains were recorded in Brent crude, U.S. crude oil and refined fuel products, while natural gas prices edged lower.
Brent crude rose 1.49% to $83.72 per barrel. U.S. crude oil (OIL) gained 1.32% to $78.31.
ULSD Heating Oil (ULSD HO) increased 1.14% to $3.9263, while RBOB Gasoline, which represents gasoline prices, advanced 0.92% to $2.9654.
Meanwhile, natural gas (NAT GAS) prices slipped 0.15% to $2.636.
