Fletcher: Sudan needs action, not words
Berlin, April 16 (Hibya) – UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher attended the Sudan conference held in Berlin.
UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher addressed the diplomatic engagements held within the conference and their impact on the ground.
Highlighting the importance of the meetings, Fletcher said: “I had a very busy day at the Sudan conference in Berlin. These were vital discussions. But they only matter if their outcomes are felt by the Sudanese people who face hardship every day.”
Emphasizing the need for concrete steps for the people of Sudan, Fletcher added: “Sudan needs action, not words.”
