Fletcher: Vital support for Darfur extended by three more months
New York, December 30 (Hibya) – United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher announced that vital support for millions of people in Darfur has been extended for an additional three months.
UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Fletcher said that the life-saving support for millions of people in Darfur has been extended for a further three months.
Thanking the authorities in Sudan and Chad for keeping the Adre border crossing open, Fletcher said: “Continuous and predictable access is essential to save lives.”
