Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.

According to the ministry, the two ministers discussed regional developments, particularly the latest mediation process taking place in Doha. They welcomed the positive progress achieved in the negotiations and expressed hope that the talks would continue in the near future.

The statement also noted that Prince Faisal bin Farhan commended Pakistan's efforts to implement the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding and its contribution to advancing dialogue and promoting lasting peace in the region.
