Foreign Ministers of Spain and Nigeria Meet in Doha
Doha, 6 December (Hibya) – Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares discussed bilateral relations and regional developments with Nigerian Foreign Minister Yusuf Tuggar on the sidelines of the Doha Forum.
Spanish Foreign Minister Albares met with his Nigerian counterpart Tuggar during the Doha Forum. The meeting addressed bilateral relations, developments in the Sahel region, and the role of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
Albares stated that Nigeria is a strategic partner for Spain on the African continent. The meeting was described as an important step toward strengthening existing cooperation between the two countries.
