Copenhagen, August 1 (Hibya) – Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen called on the European Union (EU) to take urgent action in response to developments in Ceuta.

In her statement, Frederiksen said that together with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the leaders of 20 countries, they had called on the EU to address the worrying situation in Ceuta and consider additional measures.
Emphasizing that border security is a top priority, Frederiksen stated that all options should be considered to ensure the security of European citizens.
