Futures markets open the day higher
Istanbul, October 9 (Hibya) – Rising risk appetite drew attention in index futures markets, as US and European futures contracts began the new trading day with gains driven by buying interest.
A positive mood prevailed in futures markets as investors took buying positions. In US markets, Dow Jones futures (US 30) surged 2.23% to 51,349.7 points. US Tech 100 futures gained 0.57%, while S&P 500 futures advanced 0.13%.
Optimism also persisted in European markets, with DAX futures rising 0.18%, FTSE 100 futures gaining 0.91%, and Euro Stoxx 50 futures advancing 0.49%. However, Italy's FTSE MIB futures declined 0.61%, failing to participate in the broader upward trend.
