Gerapetritis: Greece supports the Western Balkans' EU perspective
New York, September 21 (Hibya) - Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis reiterated his support for the Western Balkans' perspective of joining the European Union.
Greek Foreign Minister Gerapetritis attended the “Friends of the Western Balkans” meeting held in New York on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly.
Gerapetritis reiterated Greece's support for the Western Balkans' perspective of joining the European Union. It was reported that the meeting took place ahead of the group's next Ministerial Meeting, which will be held in Athens, and before Greece assumes the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2027.
