According to a statement issued by Bulgaria's Ministry of Defense, Deputy Minister of Defense Katerina Gramatikova-Ivanova met with Czech Republic Ambassador to Bulgaria Miroslav Toman.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed expanding bilateral defense cooperation, exchanging experience, enhancing defense capabilities, and strengthening cooperation between their defense industries.

Deputy Minister Gramatikova-Ivanova expressed confidence that the active political dialogue and practical cooperation between the two countries would continue in line with their shared interests.

Ambassador Toman, for his part, stated that the Czech Republic is ready to deepen its partnership with Bulgaria and promote joint initiatives in the fields of defense and security. The two sides also agreed that strengthening bilateral cooperation contributes to enhancing regional and Euro-Atlantic security.
