Greece supports convening of UN Security Council
Athens, October 9 (Hibya) - The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its support for Ukraine amid escalating Russian attacks on civilians and residential areas, saying it supported Ukraine’s request to convene the United Nations (UN) Security Council.
The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement regarding Russia’s escalating attacks on civilians and residential areas in Ukraine.
The statement said, “Greece reaffirms its steadfast support for Ukraine in the face of Russia’s escalating attacks against civilians and residential areas.”
Greece, which holds the presidency of the United Nations Security Council, was said to support Ukraine’s request to convene the Council over the attacks.
