New York, June 26 (Hibya) - United Nations (UN) Secretary-General António Guterres made a statement on global crises and peacebuilding efforts.
United Nations (UN) Secretary-General António Guterres said that in a time of growing crises, the work of the UN Peacebuilding Commission is more critical than ever.
Guterres said, "In this era of multiplying crises, the work of the UN Peacebuilding Commission is more vital than ever: protecting people from the devastation of war and helping them build a better life from its ashes."
Emphasizing lasting peace, Guterres stated, "Together, we can work for lasting peace, everywhere and for everyone."
