London, April 19 (Hibya) – UK Defence Secretary John Healey highlighted the importance of the country’s nuclear deterrence, thanking submarine personnel.

Thanking the submarine crews who ensure the security of the United Kingdom and NATO, Healey said, “I am proud to welcome home our submarine personnel who keep the UK and NATO safe every day, every minute.”
Highlighting their sacrifices, Healey said, “They and their families make great sacrifices to protect us all.”
Referring to the UK’s defence capabilities, Healey stated, “Our nuclear deterrence is more important than ever.”
Evaluating submarine personnel, Healey added, “They are Britain’s best.”
