Hegseth: Small boats and missile depots were targeted
Ankara, July 8 (Hibya) - US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said that the operations targeted small boats harassing ships, as well as coastal missile depots, underground facilities, and radar sites.
US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth made statements regarding the operations carried out against Iran last night.
Hegseth said the operations targeted small boats posing a threat to ships, as well as underground facilities, missile storage sites, and coastal radar and surveillance positions.
Hegseth stated: "We targeted the small boats harassing ships. We struck underground facilities, missile depots, and coastal radar and surveillance sites. We also targeted their efforts to rebuild those capabilities."
Hegseth added that the operations could continue and said that, if ordered, they would be able to carry out strikes against additional and deeper targets.
