Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Israeli President Isaac Herzog held a phone call with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

Herzog stated that he conveyed his concerns about the escalating situation in Canada during the conversation, saying: “During the call, I expressed my deep concern over the growing antisemitic violence in Canada. I called on Prime Minister Carney and his government to address the feelings of fear and abandonment felt by our brothers and sisters in the Canadian Jewish community before it is too late.”

Emphasizing their common ground and determination regarding regional threats and security operations, President Herzog said: “In our conversation, we agreed that Israel has the right to defend itself. I reiterated that we are taking action to protect our people from the terrorist threat posed by Iran and its terror proxies in the region, including Hezbollah in Lebanon.”

Drawing attention to the future of Gaza and the need for international decisions to be implemented on the ground, Israeli President Isaac Herzog stated: “I also underscored the importance of implementing UN Security Council Resolution 2803 in Gaza, including the disarmament of Hamas and the establishment of a new government in Gaza.”
