Housing support program for reservists announced in Israel
Tel Aviv, August 9 (Hibya) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Construction and Housing Minister Chaim Katz and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced the “From Reserve Duty to the Key” program, aimed at expanding housing assistance for reservists.
According to a statement from the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Construction and Housing Minister Chaim Katz and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich presented the “From Reserve Duty to the Key” program, aimed at expanding housing support for reservists.
According to the joint statement, the program aims to provide approximately 20,000 housing solutions in 2026-2027.
The program also plans to increase priority for reservists in the “Discounted Apartment” lotteries and expand assistance for ground-floor housing.
