Jerusalem, July 31 (Hibya) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that Ahmed Hussein Mohammed Kafina, the Central Refugee Camps area commander of the Kataib al-Mujahideen organization, was killed in an airstrike carried out in the southern Gaza Strip.
The IDF announced that Ahmed Hussein Mohammed Kafina, the Central Refugee Camps area commander of the armed group Kataib al-Mujahideen, was killed during an operation conducted in the southern Gaza Strip.
In its statement, the IDF alleged that Kafina participated in the October 7 attacks by infiltrating Israeli territory, played a role in several hostage-taking operations, and was involved in directing those operations.
The statement further claimed that Kafina supported plans for attacks against Israeli forces and Israeli civilians throughout the course of the war.
